 The Gourmet Store is a cool little niche on the ground floor of Olympic Towers in downtown Buffalo. Martin Safford-Cameron is the ChEfO. The atmosphere is charming and unique, reflecting Martin's debonaire and zaney personality. Elizabeth Bonerb, owner of Maryelizabeth's doubles as the pastry chef. Over the years it has proved to be a mutually rewarding journey. The road has been paved with monumentally enlightening experiences. Maryelizabeth's Buffalo cookies are featured as part of the brisk catering business. Janice Okun, Food Editor of The Buffalo News, likes the idea that the buffaloes sport different decorations with the changing seasons. Around July Fourth, check out the Ohsaycanyousee-alos! Maryelizabeth's bar cookies are really spectacular, too. There is a lovely, wide variety...big bars for the famished hoards and more petite bars for catering customers who like to sample.
